The Archer Group, Itera's timberland and development division is a viable and visible example of the company's growth strategy. This strategy is illustrated by the company's aggressive timberland acquisition drive with a focus on purchasing timberland tracts in North Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana from both private and corporate landowners. Itera's strategy is also seen in its timber company's concentration on a diversified acquisition methodology targeting markets for a wide range of interests, including strong timber production capability. Itera promotes sustainable forestry and high environmental standards for stewardship, promoting management with soil, water and wildlife conservation as a top consideration. The company's timberland team includes financial experts who work closely with the landowner - both private and corporate - to accommodate tax structures associated with the dispositions of timberland.

In addition to its focus on timber markets, the Archer Group addresses such non-timber issues as higher and better use of land sales, hunting leases, pine straw sales, mineral rights and stump sales.

Itera has also developed its own corporate headquarters complex in Jacksonville, Florida which is partially occupied by the company's Jacksonville operation. The remainder of the building is leased to professional and commercial business operations. Itera intends to expand its existing complex by commencing design of a second office building during calendar year 2010.

Through a sister company, Itera International Energy Corporation is involved in other real estate projects such as single tenant development of convenience stores and shopping centers throughout the nation.
