Are you the difference?
At Itera, we are always looking for people eager to make a difference. We encourage and facilitate that you stay professionally up to date and that you are allowed to contribute in a robust professional environment.
We are confident that you can develop in the direction you want, both in exciting projects and through our competence development programs.
Technology, the opportunities available, user expectations and trends are evolving quickly. To ensure our employees have access to the best opportunities for their continuing development throughout their whole careers at Itera, we have developed a solid framework for continuous competence development, called Level Up.
Level Up brings together a range of activities, sources and resources that are useful for your development:
The activity calendar provides an overview of the specialist evenings and other expertise-related events that are taking place – both those that are open to everyone and those that are targeted more specifically at your area of expertise.
We love sharing things whenever we can, so at Itera the activity calendar is very busy, both with courses that lead to formal certification as well as with more informal evening gatherings with pizza where we experiment with new tech, concepts or methodologies.
Courses and conferences are an important way of keeping up-to-date professionally. Level Up gives you an overview of all the good arenas in Norway and internationally so you can plan what it is relevant for you to join.
‘Practices’ are Itera’s way of providing specialised expertise development. Each ‘Practice’ is an internal community for a specific specialist area that is relevant to the development of our people, our customers and our company. They are where we build, share, nurture and develop our expertise across our entire organisation.
Examples of Itera’s Practices include AI & Analytics, Azure, Brand Innovation, Digital Design, Service Design, Agile Transformation, QA, Cloud & Software Engineering, and Service Design. All employees can be associated with one or more Practices, depending on their professional standpoint, interests and personal competence plan.
‘My Career’ is a key tool for you and your manager for when you are both monitoring and planning your personal development. It is used to agree which courses you will attend and which certifications you will complete, as well as how your individual competence plan will best support the way in which you want to develop. It also provides an overview of the projects you have been assigned to in the time ahead, so that you and your manager can agree on any specific courses you need to take to ensure you are as well-prepared as possible.
We encourage flexibility and work-life balance
