We're about to enter a winter wonderland of treats, holiday joy, and Christmas magic. The best part of the holiday season is reflecting on this year's accomplishments, together with our employees, clients, and partners.
Last year we stated that 2020 was entirely out of the ordinary. By the end of 2021, we can say that this is equally true this year. The vaccines arrived, and we could work at the office again, at least for a short period. Our fantastic people have worked hard to help our customers use digital technology to get through one of the most challenging moments in modern history throughout the pandemic.
Though we still wish the pandemic never took place, we have many bright spots to celebrate:

In the first quarter, we launched our revitalised brand – finding the human solutions to complex challenges and living our commitments as a responsible business and trusted partner.

End-to-end digitalisation
We have been growing our core digital business – with opportunities in areas such as cloud, data and analytics, and AI-based industrial digitalisation with digital twins and automation. We also see increasing interest in next-generation robotisation and mixed reality in the market.

Collaboration with Mastercard
Our Danish office has delivered many substantial projects, among others for Mastercard. After years of close collaboration and exciting projects (earlier with Nets Corp. Services, now Mastercard), Mastercard and Itera have in 2021 expanded the collaboration. Not only in Denmark, but across borders.
We have gone from projects and dedicated cloud-based infrastructure, to now and going forward, delivery teams across borders to meet customer/market- and compliance demand, operating aligned with Mastercards high and ever-evolving security standards.


Adapting to the "new normal"
We have used the pandemic to learn about new ways of working. According to our own research, most employees want flexible remote working options, but at the same time, they also want more in-person collaboration. This is hybrid working.

We are "all in" on the cloud
We have taken a new step in our efforts to migrate customers to the cloud and have already had several very successful projects.
Among other projects, we have Kontrollrådet, a customer for ten years, who we have just migrated to the cloud — entirely without downtime.
Through our Delivery Factory at Scale for data-driven businesses and our world-class Cloud Centre of Excellence, we are bringing together all of our capabilities, from delivering three-horizon digital strategies and cloud transformation journeys to cloud migration, cloud-native development, data, AI, application lifecycle management and change.

New office in Iceland
After five successful years in the Icelandic market, partnering with ambitious customers like Össur, Landsbankinn and Íslandsbanki, it was time to open our own office in Reykjavik.
