Itera Awarded New Framework Agreement with IMDi
The Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) has announced that Itera has been awarded a new framework agreement for the procurement of consulting services related to the investigation, development, and maintenance of IMDi's digital services. Itera's proposal was assessed as the best overall.
The agreement involves a procurement need of up to NOK 300 million over a period of 2+1+1 years. The agreement was signed on August 29, 2024.
About IMDi
The Directorate of Integration and Diversity is responsible for implementing the government's integration policy and aims to strengthen the competencies of municipalities, sector authorities, and other partners regarding integration and diversity. IMDi has just under 300 employees and has a societal mission to promote equal opportunities and living conditions in a diverse society.

Itera has been a supplier to IMDi for the past two years, and this engagement is an important part of our social responsibility. Itera is therefore very pleased with the new framework agreement, which is expected to be even larger in scope than the existing agreement.

IMDi with Major Digitization Ambitions
IMDi is a governmental actor that truly understands the significance of technological development and the vast opportunities it presents. They are also particularly focused on ensuring that development is user-centered. In their announcement letter, they state that the purpose of the framework agreement is to ensure access to the right competencies to assist in their assessments and utilization of emerging technologies, as well as developing and maintaining existing solutions.
In its justification for awarding the contract, IMDi writes:
"The proposal from Itera describes an overall capacity and competence that is considered to provide very high value for IMDi. Itera articulates very well how roles will appropriately distribute and coordinate competency responsibilities in order to optimize utilization and allocation of total capacity and competence for IMDi. Additionally, Itera documents very good capacity and competence in emerging technology and artificial intelligence."
